A thoughtful expansion and modernisation, featuring the construction of three new buildings for this existing primary school- an administration and General Learning Area (GLA) building, dedicated music building, and a three level covered walkway to enhance campus accessibility.
The design prioritises functionality and accessibility while addressing a steep slope, significant site constraints, and stringent fire safety requirements through meticulous planning and creative design solutions.
The redevelopment introduces a new contemporary street frontage and welcoming presence and entry, as well as a modern, unifying colour palette that visually ties together both the new and existing buildings. Additionally, a new network of access roads, pathways and thoroughfares creates enhanced connectivity across the campus.
A standout feature is the new tiered seating adjacent to the oval, creating a versatile outdoor learning space that encourages social interaction. This popular student gathering space will also serve as a functional venue for school events and performances.
The completed project not only provides additional classrooms and facilities but also improves the overall aesthetic and functionality of the school, creating a cohesive environment that supports both students and staff to thrive.
