“Open value adds to our projects by understanding our client’s brief, yet challenging and introducing innovative solutions to what can be complex challenges. .”

Jason Leslie, Otium Sport & Leisure

A new 11,600m² regional indoor multi-sport facility with a premier show court to seat 1000 spectators and an additional three indoor courts. The precinct will feature ancillary sport science functions including allied health and rehabilitation practice rooms. The new centre will provide a connection to surrounding outdoor sports fields within the site and increase sporting facilities and participation for the region.

Stage 1 of the plan will be to deliver a brand new home for Rockhampton Netball that will provide additional capacity for the sport to grow and expand their fixtures, carnivals and competitions, while allowing local athletes to develop their talents at home in our region.

Project benefits

The 26 hectare precinct is proposed to be centrally located at CQUniversity Australia North Rockhampton campus and will provide a destination to support the current and future demand for sport and active recreation in our community.
